When you become a supporting member we collect your name, email address and date of birth. We do not collect your personal identity number or phone number.
The data is used solely to administer your membership, manage the membership fee, and send information about the association's events and activities.
Your data is stored for as long as your membership is active. If you end your membership, we delete your data once it is no longer needed to administer or close out the membership.
Your data is handled by the association's board. We use third-party services (Memberstack for membership management and login, Stripe for payments) as data processors – these may only process your data according to our instructions.
You have the right to receive an extract of the data we hold about you, the right to have incorrect data corrected, and the right to be removed from our register once the data is no longer needed. Contact the board at kontakt@plutostation.org to exercise your rights.
As a member you can delete your own account via the profile settings on the website. When you do this, your payment information and any ongoing subscriptions with our payment provider are also deleted. Please note that for bookkeeping reasons the association may be required to retain certain information about completed payments (amount, date) for up to 7 years under Swedish accounting law (bokföringslagen), even after your account has been deleted.
Our website uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Analytics to measure the effectiveness of our marketing and understand how visitors use the site. These tools may collect information such as your IP address, which pages you visit, and what actions you take on the site, and share this information with Meta Platforms Inc. and Google respectively, in accordance with their own privacy policies. You can limit this tracking by using browser extensions for tracking protection or by adjusting your cookie settings in your browser.
