Pluto Station has its roots in Pluto – a shared studio and workshop space that opened in 2021 and soon became a working home for several external artists and musicians too. As the community and the projects around it grew, Pluto grew with them. On 19 May 2026, it became official: Pluto Station Kulturförening.
Our purpose is to keep music culture, art and digital creation alive – on stage, in the studio, and in the rooms that follow. We host recurring cultural evenings ranging from talks and listening sessions to live performances, complemented by study circles that take you from your first tentative recordings to a fully realised DJ set: music production, mixing, DJing, streaming, and, for those who want to go all the way, building your own audio equipment.
We offer guest artist residencies for musicians and DJs. The residency means living in Gothenburg for a week or a weekend, producing music in our studio using our sound system, and finishing with a set played on it. Application required – get in touch if you're interested.
